Natalia and Charles

Natalia had been registered on this site for two years or so and she didn’t have much success. Many times she came to us with a desperate expression on her face complaining about her misfortune in finding that special man; she supposed to get fast with the help of Anastasia site.

But one day has changed everything when a handsome interesting foreigner from USA replied her introductory letter.

‘I can’t help keeping in my mind how surprised I was to receive his reply. My desperation was washed away by the hope that everything is going to change now. It was a movement from “dead point”, a slight one, but still movement’, Natalia recollects.

‘I was so excited to get to know this lady and was checking my e-mail for hundreds of times per day to see if my “angel” wrote to me’, Charles shares his first impressions with us and smiles wide. ‘I couldn’t wait for a long time and ordered a phone conversation with Natalia. Her soft voice was a divine addition to her breath taking picture. Though she spoke English badly that time and we used interpreter’s service, she sounded like the lady from my dreams. After our conversation only one thought resided in my mind replacing my other thoughts. My mind was crying You need to see her!!!’

They met on July, 7 2006 at the airport. Both felt shy. But in several minutes this shyness that caused much inconvenience flied away. They seemed to know each other for many years and this was a meeting of old friends (it is worthy to remind here that Natalia’s English at that time left much to be desired and they invited interpreter for their first week together). Yes, they’ve spent the whole week together. It was an unforgettable time that left deep imprint in their souls and hearts. Leaving, Charles asked Natalia wait for him as he promised to visit her soon.

He promised and he was impeccable to his word. They met in October for the second time. Natalia was very happy to meet Charles after long phone conversation and love letters. Charles was more restraint as if he was preparing for something important and she could feel him being nervous. This evening they went to restaurant and ordered as usually. Charles was staring in Natalia’s eyes as if trying to find something in them, something new and very important, something that seemed to be an answer to his further existence in this world. He was staring even not giving a wink – he was afraid to miss a thing. A deep breath and the restaurant room became silent (someone asked musicians stop playing for some reason), a moment or two and Charles was staying on his knee holding a small box in one hand and flowers in another. Natalia acutely felt shiver on her spine. She had been waiting for this moment for so long and now she was taken by surprise… Both remained speechless. Natalia could hear her own heart hammering in her chest; it seemed to skip out of her breast.

Charles gained his confidence back and asked ‘Natalia, will you marry me?’

Natalia’s look was moving from Charles happy eyes to sparkling ring and back. Charles seemed to have lost his ability to breathe; his ears were ready for one answer only.

As always soft and sweet voice broke the silence ‘Yes’ and Charles’s smile grew wider and wider uncovering his white teeth when his was putting the ring on the cherished finger. They kissed and heard applause – these were accidental witnesses of their small, but at the same time very important celebration – the celebration of soul, heart and body union.

This week spent together was very important for both. Now they moved on in their relationship and were no longer just acquainted – they knew they need each other for the rest of their lives. However, as in every long-distance relationship they needed to part for certain period of time.

‘This was a painful moment for both of us. We needed more time for being together, but didn’t have it. Days were passing slowly and the brightest events at that time were our phone conversations. It was a kind of soul celebration after dull working day’, the couple agrees.

Next meeting occurred in several months. ‘As well as other meetings it was a significant meeting that took us to other level in our relationship and made us stronger and more committed to each other’, Charles states.

This time they had New Year celebration together with Natalia’s parents and son from first exciting companionship. ‘It was a harmonic celebration. We have become a one family. My parents liked Charles very much and supported our decision be together as they saw how happy we were together; they felt this sparkle between us that is alive till today and will live forever, I believe. Charles has become very close to my son as well. I am happy, what can I say’, Natalia smiles.

This time they’ve spent 1, 5 month together and what is more important – in the family circle.

Charles was visiting Natalia regularly and didn’t miss any events in her family life, such as her mother’s birthday and her son’s school graduation. Several months ago they applied for fiancee visa and very soon Natalia goes for interview to Romania.

‘I am upset it takes so much time to get visa, but we are already at the end of this procedure. I am happy that soon I will be able to come to my beloved and never part again. We need to be together. Can’t wait for the moment when we marry and will live together happily as we always dreamt of. Now I know that dreams come true if you desire something very much and are patient and not afraid to receive this’, Natalia says.

‘Yes, we were patient nearly the whole year and I feel we’ll be rewarded for this. We have less than a month until we can live in our house…it is better to say home. Yes, it is going to be a home – our small paradise we both were striving for. My desire be together Natalia is as strong as it was in October when I made her proposal. It is even stronger now. I am the happiest man in the world!!!’ Charles laughs.
