Oksana and Mark

Ignat, Arseniy and Trofim ... The youngest is about three years old, the oldest is ten. One is lucky to have three sons even if one's private life hasn't exactly worked out the way it should have. That was what Oksana thought, and yet she still wanted to feel like a real woman, loved and wanted by someone. She was quite young, just over 30, with good looks and an active personality, which was only natural since she worked in a school and was also bringing up three kids.

Russian men withdrew when they found out about the children. One is ok, two are a lot, but three little ones are way too much. But Oksana still wanted to believe, to live and to love. Someone told her about our agency, saying that "foreigners would be braver and should not be turned off by kids". So she took the chance.

At first, there was no result. Actually, to say "at first" is to put it mildly - Oksana was an agency member for two years. Of course, there were men who wrote to her, but somehow they all disappeared after a long correspondence. At that point, it seemed to be a catastrophe - even overseas men were turned off by the fact that she had children. Later on she understood that it was her fortune that made her wait for the right one to get in touch with her.

She did not really like Mark's photo. She had a strange prejudice against men with moustaches. The first letters were also somewhat dry and not very entertaining. But the agency's staff supported her and convinced her to write back: "The first impression could be right, but it could also lead you completely astray!" So she wrote. Letter after letter, they found out more about each other and became closer and closer.

It turned out that Mark had three daughters: one adopted and two of his own! The older one was already living separately, and the two younger ones stayed with him. He also worked in s school and was also a teacher! He called, wrote letters to her and sent her photos. Of course, he seemed to be a nice and a decent man, but she was still afraid to indulge her feelings.

For Christmas holidays (the only time off in schools) he came to visit her. It is hard to describe and to relate how two grown-up people with different experiences, both very careful in their decisions, took time to become closer and closer ...

As she confessed later, she was especially touched by one thing. Once they had a conversation, and she blurted out that she did not really like men with moustaches. So one morning he came to meet her with his upper lip shaved clean and with an expression of anxious expectation on his face. At that moment, something happened inside her. This strange and incomprehensible man became so close and familiar to her!

They had to wait for a year in order to obtain a visa. Oksana came to America for the next Christmas. Mark helped her and supported her in everything, good and bad, that happened to her. Their wedding was scheduled for Valentine's day, but had to be postponed to a week later because of some problems with organizing the event. Now her new life with new problems and new challenges is just beginning. Only now she is not alone in this new life.
