Ted and Zoya, 2000

Hello dear readers of the AnastasiaWeb site,

I want to tell you an interesting story about my old friend Zoya that I have known since our college years. Seven years ago, when international dating sites were only launching their activity, and looking for a partner in the Internet was something new for many people, my friend went to the Anastasia dating site in order to find her special man and her happiness outside our country.

I want to emphasize that this search does not always bring quick results. Two years went by before she met her Ted. He was the first foreign man she dared to meet in real life.

Zoya told me that when she saw him for the very first time, she immediately felt they had something in common. At that point, she knew no English and Ted knew no Russian. It was a miracle they understood each other without words. At first, of course, they used the help of a professional interpreter when they met in the airport and for some time following that.

I have seen them together once. Ted made the impression of being a calm, kind and intelligent person. I recall Zoya being on cloud nine with joy. She related that it was all like a fairy tale or a dream.

Ted proposed to her and came to Russia to meet her parents. When he left in two weeks, she began filing the documents for a fiancee visa to the USA. She also started learning English through a language course. She spend almost a year processing the paperwork. Ted visited her in summer for another two weeks.

Now I often get photos and letters from my friend living in the USA. She is very happy and she says that her husband is a very decent, attentive and caring man. They love each other and take care of each other. Zoya also writes that she is very grateful to the people from the Anastasia agency, whose help played a great part in meeting such a wonderful person as Ted.

Looking at my friends experience, I also decided to search for my happiness in the Internet. Zoya recommended me to go to the same agency. She told me that the people working in the agency really know their profession well and are interested in helping girls in finding their partners. In fact, the atmosphere is really very friendly and cooperative.
