Since I came to the agency, my life had been filled with pleasant acquaintances. First I couldn’t even imagine how people were able to find their second halves being so far from each other. But after I placed my profile on Anastasia site, a lot of guys were interested in correspondence with me, but I perceived them more like friends and my heart didn’t beat faster until I received a letter from my second half.
His name was Peter and he was a real man. We have a saying in Ukraine which sounds something like “He came, he saw and conquered”. Peter wrote just one letter and already the next day he called me and then there was a short period of time after which he decided to come to meet me in reality. To be honest, I didn’t expect such a turn of events so fast.

I went to meet him at the airport and on my way there I felt some anxiety, because writing letters to each other and talking on the phone still would differ from real meeting and I wasn’t quite sure I would meet my only one beloved person. The point was that I met foreign guys who corresponded with me on the site before, but I never felt so excited like it was that time.
I was imagining our first meeting and I was thinking of what I would tell him, but all my thoughts were mixed up and it was a little hard to pull myself together. It was a ‘blind date‘ not taking into consideration that we saw each other’s pictures and talked on the phone. I even felt some fear because of that. Both persons can communicate being on a big distance from each other, but all the same it would be pretty hard to get to know a person unless you meet face to face. And having fantasized a lot of things about each other, I was not sure we would meet those expectations…though at the moment we met, I forgot not English only, but my native language…
When I saw him, all my fantasies turned out to be true. He was so cute, probably because of his Italian roots or just he was handsome like he really was…or maybe it was love which I felt.

First time when he came to Ukraine it was summer. He had been here for a week and how hard it was to separate but he had to come back to his country because of work, though Peter promised to return in Fall. During the time of his absence I applied for visa at the American Embassy to visit him, but unfortunately it was denied.
Peter came to me in fall again as he promised and stayed with me one month. During this time I got him acquainted with my mother and brother and we had dinner all together. My mother liked Peter very much, but like any mother she worried about us.

Peter had to go back to US again, and he asked me to start preparing documents for fiancée visa. I was very happy! He was far away from me now but he called me almost every day. I could share everything with him. I could tell him everything. I thought it was very important for both people even if they were far away from each other. People said that real love didn’t know its depth until the pain of separation, so we would test it.
I want to thank Anastasia website for support and help, for being with me all this time! I wish all men and women on this site to find their beloved ones!
