Darren and Anna

It all started in December 2007 when myself and Anna started writing to each other through a website, from this lovely lady’s first letter to me, I knew she was very honest and caring, and I did not want to write to anyone else, after about 5 letters I knew I was falling in love with this lady, and it was just through her letters, it was what she wrote and how she wrote. As letter after letter and time was passing, we wrote to each other 170 times within this time, I have visited Anna in Odessa Ukraine for a weekend.

It was our first ever meeting, we both got on really well. And she was very caring enough to take me on a history lesson of her city, it was most enjoyable. After this meeting I knew the lady who wrote me all these letters who I fell in love with, I then fell in love with the person.

We exchanged phones numbers and texted each other most days, and call from time to time. We have now been writing to each other for about 16 months. I have just got back from my last visit which was for 7 days. Anna booked apartment for us both which was great and we had a wonderful time together walking and talking enjoying each other’s company and shopping.

I was invited to her friends for tea and had a lovely time meeting them and talking. I also met Anna’s family within this week and was also invited to their home for tea on March 8th 2009 which was very special to me and Anna. But before we went to tea, I got up that morning on Lady’s Day and went and bought her flowers and a rose. After giving Anna her flowers, I got on one knee and proposed marriage to Anna with the rose in my hand and she said ‘yes’. Anna cried and I had a tear in my eye as she now made me the happiest man in the world. After meeting Anna’s family I thought they are so lovely, to invite me to their home, and I had a great time.

When it was time for me to fly home, Anna got very upset as she did not want me to go. And I did not really want to leave her also but we both knew it had to happen. This is why I think Anna should receive her visa so she visit me and my family and friends and also talk about and decide when we are to get married as we are so much in love. She is all I think about and I want her by my side here in England as she is my fiancée and I can’t live without her.
