Larissa and Steve

Larissa did not ever think about coming to the marriage agency. It was very pleasant that Larissa has not lost her faith in miracles; she believed that everything will be wonderful in her life, but still she had some doubts and did not come to the agency for some time. But, in couple of months she called me and said that she will come with her sister.

As it turned out her sister came with her because Larissa needed her support, she did not have enough courage to even fill in the profile. At first there was a photo session and of course some doubts, but then she started receiving letters.

Larissa admitted that when she received a letter from Steve she told me that there was something special in that letter and that their relationship began to develop very fast. Their correspondence did not last for a long time, and in a month Steve came to Nikolayev to meet Larissa.

They talked for a long time, shared with there memories about previous life. She had an interesting fact about her youth. When she was a student and worked in a design office, (it was the Soviet Union times), and she did not stop to learn English, in spite the fact that everyone thought that it was unnecessary language.

She had two grown up children and she almost did not have any free time, but nevertheless she found some time and continued to learn English, may be she felt that this language will be useful for her in the future. Then Larissa went to England where she was very happy to meet Steve’s son and mother.

The couple was dating for seven months and than they decided to get married. When we received the invitation to the wedding, the first thing that we heard from Larissa was her gratitude that we persuaded her to join the agency, and in reality we just re-assured her to do what she actually wanted to do, to make the first step to her own happiness.

It was a beautiful wedding. His mother and the son arrived to Ukraine to congratulate the happy couple. Larissa said wonderful words, she said that such a person as Steve must deserves to be happy, after all those unpleasant moments in his life, and that she never dreamed to meet a person with such a kind heart.

Their children danced together to Beatles’ song - a dance of nation's friendship, and Steve's son shouted "now a kiss!" in Russian.
