She was 34 and was a victim of constant reproaches of her relatives. “Stop picking! Marry someone at last!” – they said. It is very typical for Ukraine where Julia lives.
She laughed off “Every pot will find its lid” and continued looking for her man. Another saying she loves is “No pains, no gains”.
Julia has never been passive in life, and she registered at Anastasiaweb. It was her who wrote the first letter in September 2007.
Stefan replied, and soon called her. She spoke poor English, and yet it helped them so much in the beginning.
He learnt Russian words, and everyday told her more and more wonderful things over the phone. She soon started answering in German…
First time he came to Ukraine in winter, then she traveled to Germany to meet his family and friends.
And both families were content, and not a single person has ever seen either Julia, or Stefan that happy.
In summer he returned to Ukraine with his son. And this was the final step – the two worlds were merged into one. There were no more things to hesitate or to doubt about.
Their wedding took place on November 8, 2008. They were the most remarkable couple, as they mixed the traditions of two people.
Their mothers became friends, as by chance or destiny, Gisella studied Russian at school, and Larisa still remembered some German. ;-)
Now the happy young family is finishing working with the legal side of the marriage, completing all the necessary documents.
Hopefully, the happiness, that their faces eradiate, will be seen even in the pictures.
Never stop trying and look for a real person behind photos on the screen ;-)
