Lyuba and Rick

My life story is an ordinary story of many Ukrainian women. My husband left me and our small son. I had to work hard to bring him up and to give him good education.

When Roma had grown up I started thinking of my own life. I understood that my son needed a friend to support and to teach him. And I needed simple female happiness, love and care. I thought it was good idea to appeal to professionals for help. So I came to the agency and asked to place my ad in the Internet. I decided to use all possibilities to find the love of my life. I wanted to love and to be loved.

I was looking for my second half for more than 2 years. I received many letters from men of different countries. I met a few of them but nothing worked out. I almost gave up with this but finally I have found him. My Rick is the best man in the world. We both are very grateful to the agency staff for joining our destinies. We want to thank you for your hospitality and for your see off party. Rick liked it very much and he sends his regards to each of you, girls. You were so kind to me all the time, you became my family. I miss you. But I want you to know I am very happy next to my husband here. You know that Rick is my joy, my treasure. You know how much I love him. We are meant for each other and I know our exciting companionship will last forever. I can't imagine my life without his smiling face, his loving heart. He makes every day of mine a fairy-tale and it's all thanks to you.

My son is delighted with his new home, new school and friends. And he has founded new grandmother here. She's the best grandmother he could ever dream of. My Rick and his family are very kind and attentive and I think they already fell in love with us. So did we. We travel a lot. Rick took me to Florida where we have visited his mother and sister. They were both impressed with my embroidery works. His mother has also reminded me about her letter sent before I moved to the USA with my son. Here it is:

"Dear Luba, Rick has told me much about you and how happy he is that he has found you. I must admit that at first I was not very comfortable with his finding love as far away with so many unknown quantities but he has reassured me what a fine loving educated person you are and for now what makes him happy is what I want for him. I am anxious to meet you and Roman and to get to know you and love you, as he does. Thanks for writing to me. We are a very close family as I'm sure Rick has told you and welcome you with open arms.
