Marina and Dan

Marina has been one of our clients for some years already, but she could not meet the man she would fall in love with. Maybe that is due to her character. Yes, Marina is a strong woman. She is purposeful and maybe a bit capricious – a real Russian woman who knows what she deserves!

It is well know that it is hard for a strong lady to meet a man, who would be the right choice for her.

Well, the time went by, and one day Marina got the letter from the man Dan. Just an American man, but he seemed to be interesting. The correspondence began.

It was the late spring – the time of romance…

After some letters Dan asked Marina to send him a postal letter, as he wished to look at Marina’s handwriting. That was what he said. That was the turning point in their correspondence, because Dan understood that Marina really cares and he started to treat their conversation seriously.

For about three month Marina and Dan were getting to know each other via the agency correspondence and when they finally met, they knew each other!

So, in September Dan decided that he have to see Marina finally, to look into her yes and to feel her charm in reality. Yet the city Sevastopol does not have the airport, so Dan had to come to Kiev – the capital, and then fly to Simferopol. Dan had never been to Ukraine before and that is why it was a strange country for him. Marina, as a caring woman, who would never leave a person she cares about in trouble, decided to meet Dan in Kiev. That was the action that Dan appreciated! Finally they met in the airport of Kiev and Marina was the first lady whom Dan met on the territory of Ukraine. Then, it was some time in Kiev and an hour in the plane to the Crimea together. Marina did not know English very well, and Dan spoke no Russian, but for some reason they understood each other and could read each other’s thoughts in the eyes! It was the harmony! And maybe it was the love at first sight? her flowers and champagne. Soon this admirer a guy Pierre from Switzerland got a shape of a real person – I was lucky to tremble with excitement in unison with Irina standing in the airport in Kishinev. We were crumpling touching red small ball which were prepared on purpose while peering into variegated crowd.

Still one thing can be said for sure – that was the meeting they both were looking for and they finally found that!

Their time together in Sevastopol was full of romance. Marina was changing before our eyes! She became soft and fragile near this strong man of will. She listened to him and yes, he managed to conquer her heart! They realized, that they were meant for each other…

Dan went home then, but Marina had a lot of things to do here to be prepared for her new future life in America with her man. Now Marina had to learn the English language and so she went to the courses to study it. She also should know how to drive the car, so she began to do this too. Meanwhile the process of getting the visa was going on.

So, there will be Marina’s birthday in April and Dan is going to come here to celebrate it with Marina and her family. By the way, Marina’s son – Ruslan gets on with Dan very well! They made real friends and Dan loves Ruslan very much. Maybe because he has a son of the same age? But Ruslan is not planning to go to America. He has his life here and he wishes to stay in Ukraine. That is his choice, but the main thing is that he is very happy for his mother and considers Dan to be the right match for her.

Now they all wait for Marina’s birthday and for Dan to come here and to take Marina to the USA as his lovely love companion!
