I am Michael Thompson from Ontario, Canada. I have an ID on you Anastasia Web site. My ID is 2137. I have been an Anastasia Client for about 4 years starting in 2000. I had tried everything from correspondence, to Socials, but without any lasting successor results, and in a few cases great disappointment. In summers of 2001 and 2002 I traveled to Moscow but was unable to find what I was looking for, that special person. In 2003 I resolved to try one last time (this time on the 2 city Odessa/Kiev Tour), and then I was going to give up on my search for good.
Fortunately Destiny did not give up on me. I found the attitude of the Ukrainian women to be different from what I had experienced in Russia. They seemed on average to be more sincere about finding the right man.
For my Late Summer 2003 Tour I traveled to Odessa and Kiev, and attended 2nd city Tours in Kherson and Vinnitsa. The Anastasia staff were very helpful, securing introductions for me and helping me book accommodation for the ladies I wanted to meet and spend time with. I met a lady in Odessa who first contacted me in response to my advertisement via Anastasiaweb in March of 2003 (Iryna Okolot - Age: 28, City: Nikolaev, ID: 41332). We met in Odessa late July 2003 at the Black Sea Hotel and quickly fell in love. Things moved faster between us than either of us had expected or planned for. We became engaged after our meeting in July 2003. I bought Iryna a diamond and sapphire ring and proposed to her on bended knee at the Black Sea hotel after we had attended a wedding reception held by our Anastasia Tour Leader for the Odessa-Kherson part of the trip and his Russian fiance from Novgorod - and she said yes there and then. It looks like it is true, there is nothing like a wedding reception to trigger further engagements!
It is now July 2004. Iryna and I were married this month in Jamaica at the 5 Star Half Moon Hotel, Montego Bay, in a romantic open air wedding under a Gazebo by the Caribbean. Both sets of parents flew to Jamaica to attend our wedding and stayed on for the honeymoon, mine from Canada, and Iryna's from Ukraine. I have attached a photo of both Iryna and I just after we had exchanged our wedding vows, standing under that blessed Gazebo which stretches beyond the golden sandy beach into the Caribbean sea. The weather, although a little windy was absolutely perfect for our big day. We had the romantic wedding of our dreams and, after the reception, we sat later that day outside our Imperial Suites on our own stretch of semi-private beach, and then spent time in the swimming pool adjacent to our Suite. A perfect end to a perfect day.
Many thanks to you all at Anastasia for providing the web service that initially enabled Iryna and I to "meet" online, and the 2003 Ukraine Tour that enabled us to meet in person, fall in love, become engaged.
So you can remove my ID from your website as I am now "taken", God willing, for life.
