Natasha and Jim

Natasha came to Novgorod after getting a divorce from her husband. She lived in a small one-room apartment with her 6-year-old son. Natasha had a good education, and she found a teaching position with a medical college. Finding a worthy man that would become a good husband and father for the child was very hard because the city was very small and mostly female populated. There were few opportunities for a romantic encounter in the short breaks between work and bringing up the child.

Natasha decided to take advantage of the agencys services. However she was reluctant to come to a social as she was scared to meet her own students there. But once the curiosity won and she attended a social. Jim immediately took notice of a charming and intelligent woman. They became acquainted with each other, started a conversation and developed a mutual liking.

After Jim left, a correspondence emerged. Very soon he came to Russia again. Jim lived with Natasha and her son in the one-room apartment in a multi-storey house for almost a month, finding out all the details of her life, helping mend leaking pipes, solving daily problems that could only be solved by men in Russia. Jim invited Natasha to live in Canada with him. Natasha had quite a few doubts, but eventually decided to go overseas because she felt she couldnt live without this man.

What followed was a few months of life together in a very modest apartment that Jim rented in Toronto. Although they made a very modest living, Natasha chose to stay with Jim and share his life. Jim worked a lot; Natasha learned the language and browsed the local papers in search of a job. In three months they got together and decided to spend their honeymoon in Canada. They went to lake Ontario and stayed in a fine house that was situated on the coast.

Natasha was amazed to find out that the house belonged to Jim. Then they traveled to Montreal, visiting the theatre, the opera, museums; Jim had some business in the city. Natasha was very surprised to find out that the house they were staying in also belonged to Jim. When she started questioning him, she learned that Jim was a very well-to-do person, a millionaire, and their modest lifestyle in Toronto was only a means to find out her true feelings towards him, to learn what lengths she could go in order to be with him. Now Natasha is a very respectable lady with her own business, Jim helped establish it. They are a very happy couple.
