Hello everyone!
I am Oksana Popova and I am 23. I came to the agency hoping to meet my love, my true partner, and a lifetime friend. I am young and I had a lot of attention from the guys of our city. But no man touched my heart then.
I got the first letter from Phil Proctor on the 30th July 2002. It was the beginning of our correspondence. We found a lot of common interests, thoughts and desires. I kept receiving his letters with his photos attached. It was a great feeling getting to know a person through letters. He was so far away, but he was always on my mind and with me. We decided to meet up in Kiev in a few months.
Our first encounter took place in February. Prior to it I started to learn English and Phil started to learn Russian. We met each other on the 3rd of February in Kiev. We spent a great week together. During the time we visited my native city Berdyansk, where Phil met my parents. It was a warm and friendly meeting.
My mom was very anxious and couldnt imagine the American guy in our environment. She thought it was all jokes. However, when she saw Phil, she liked him at once and immediately started treating him like her own son. We met our friends and relatives and the language barrier was not a problem. Unfortunately his stay in Ukraine was limited and he had to come back to Kiev in order to return to the USA.
After that, I understood that our relationship had reached a more serious level. Phil wished me a happy Valentines Day and sent me beautiful flowers. We continued with our correspondence and were happy to have each other in our lives. On my birthday, the 23rd of March, a great surprise was waiting for me. Phil knew that I enjoyed sewing. I had handmade many articles in my wardrobe. My birthday started with a phone conversation, then I got a sewing machine that I was dreaming of so much and a beautiful bouquet of roses from Phil.
Then we decided to meet in summer in order to spend a marvelous month together. Phil planned his trip, and we adjusted our schedules. I meet him in the Borispol airport near Kiev, and in two days we arrived in Berdyansk. We spent a great time at the seaside. It was very romantic the beach, the sound of the waves, the cries of the seagulls and my beloved man beside me. During this time Phil got acquainted with more relatives of mine.
On the 16th of July we went to Kiev in order to spend three more days there. We lived in a hotel and enjoyed the sights of Ukraines capital. At the time Phil offered me to become his and I accepted his proposal. He gave me a ring as a symbol of our love.
We celebrated the next New Year with each other. We spent a week together and our feelings became stronger. When I am beside this man, my world fills with bright colors and I feel loved and the best woman for him. Now I have my personal computer and we are always in touch through the Internet. Every evening I hurry home from work for a virtual date with my love.
Half a year ago we filed the documents for a fiancee visa. In May, we expect everything to be ready and we would start the preparations for our wedding. I am very grateful to my destiny and to the Anastasia agency that I met such a wonderful, kind, sincere and fun person as Phil Proctor! We are happy now and I hope will be happy for all of our lives.
