Paul and Svetlana

Paul lived in Russia, where he had an active business, for two years. He went to many Russian cities, but only upon coming back to his homeland did he begin to miss Russia, Russian soul and of course the sweet, tender and uniquely feminine Russian girls. While he was still in Russia, he was all business, developing his contacts and partnerships, so he was not really thinking about women. He had no idea that at home he would realize how incomplete his happiness was.

When Paul understood he missed Russian girls most of all, he found a great site that had the beautiful Russian female name "Anastasia". Imagine his surprise when he, a designer by occupation, started his search with the keyword "designer", and his first match turned out to be the smiling Svetlana from Voronezh, a designer artist.

He wrote her a letter. Sveta was immediately invited to the agency to take a look at Paul's photo and to read the letter. She ran to the agency and wrote off a reply without any doubt. So the correspondence started, followed by phone calls. Paul understood that no time should be lost and flew for a weekend to Voronezh without waiting for Svetlana to go through the ordeal of getting an American visa.

The whole family set off preparing for his arrival, and the whole agency were keeping their fingers crossed for Sveta and Paul. Sveta baked her best cake, fixed the peeling wallpaper and brought Paul home to meet the parents. Although Paul used to do business in Russia, he spoke no Russian. Sveta was trying her best to learn English, but she had no money to take it up seriously, so they had another language - of gestures, eyes, smiles, the language of understanding and love.

Sveta was with our agency for a long time, but their correspondence with Paul was brief. The meeting was prepared very promptly, and the wedding followed shortly. They say exciting companionships are made in heaven... Paul knew: no pains, no gains. If he hadn't come to see her straight away, if their correspondence had continued in the same manner instead of a personal meeting, Sveta could have gone to live in some other place and Paul could have still been searching...

It is a miracle, but it seems they have known each other all their lives. They really have a lot in common. They are truly happy, and Sveta does not forget the agency, which brought them together. Whenever she comes home, she visits us, bringing photos and Dutch tulips, and she thanks fate that it brought her to the agency and that she left her photos with us.

Paul is from Amsterdam, Netherlands. He has his own design studio. He came a few times to see Sveta in Voronezh and also came to the agency. He is intelligent and very sensible, generous, happy, with a great sense of humor. As for Sveta, she has already learnt some Dutch and is now dreaming of her own flower shop - for her own pleasure, not because of the money it might bring. Paul did not leave her for a minute until she got the visa. He even accompanied her to the embassy in Moscow, he was afraid that they would ask some strange questions and that they might hurt her in some way. The couple celebrated their wedding and spent their honeymoon on an island in the Caribbean.
