When registering I was asked to accept “Terms and conditions” but I was not able to find the place to do so and was defaulted back to the application. What should I do to proceed with my registration?

In order to finish the registration you simply need to mark the checkbox that
is situated near the link "YES, I agree to the terms and conditions" in the
bottom of the registration form.
